The Ankle Weight Set by Yowie allows you to add resistance and difficulty to your workouts so you can strengthen and sculpt your glutes, abs and lower body. These weights are especially effective at targeting glute growth by adding difficulty to exercises such as glute kickbacks, standing or side lying hip abductions, and lunges. They can also add weight -- supporting strength and muscle growth -- whilst walking, stationary bike, kickboxing, and for a range of other cardio, functional, and cross training workouts.
These ankle strap style 1 kg weights are surprisingly hefty, offering much more resistance than bangle style alternatives, and can be used for a variety of lower body and core exercises.
Features include:
- Secure, snug fit. Sandbag-type filling conforms to the shape of your ankle. Long velcro strap fastens through a D-ring, allowing you to adjust the strap to your ankle size and keep the weights securely in place
- No chafing or rubbing. Smooth lining, plus an extra lip of fabric to slot under each side of the buckle, ensure you remain comfortable during your workout
- Made for a range of movements. Weights do take up some space, but they are slim enough to allow you to walk, box, do glute exercises and more
- Sold as a pair so you can do a broader range of movements and don't have to switch legs
